Job summary Amazon’s Legal Department is looking for an experienced Associate Corporate Counsel to support our rapidly growing and evolving digital media businesses, primarily in India and Singapore, including Kindle eBooks and devices as well as exciting device and content launches across Southeast Asia. The role will be responsible for drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex commercial contracts, provide advise on a variety of data privacy and content-related issues. The role includes managing legal issues that arise in existing commercial relationships, advising on new structures and handling pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries.
- Strong private practice experience, particularly in a technology-focused team. - Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team - Knowledge of Indian and South East Asian TMT laws, including data privacy and content licensing.
