
Assistant Manager, Planning and Performance

We are looking for a passionate and professional Assistant Manager to join our Retail Network Excellence team.
Based in Singapore and reporting into the Senior Manager, the incumbent will focus on conceptualising, developing and executing projects to effectively analyse and implement planning initiatives.

**What You’ll Do**
- You will proactively assess, clarify and validate Channels future needs in order to lead the planning process that drives network strategies to ensure the relevance of the retail channel
- You will evaluate retail channel’s effectiveness against established parameters, provide critical input and recommend strategy, changes, enhancements, and/or expansion to additional channels and/or partner programs
- You will develop business case and leading strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams (Retail Channel Operations, Digital Channel, Customer and other business functions) related to planning framework
- You will presents findings and visualize data to a wide range of stakeholders. Work closely with internal team to address complex business questions and provide insightful analysis and recommendation through strong presentation skills to stakeholders
- You will liaise with IT and vendors, translate business requirements to system specifications, solicit ongoing feedback, and identify opportunities for process and system change and improvement
- You will create data driven models to support the decision making process, perform data exploration and analysis on internal, external and public data sets to come up with actionable insights
- You will develop ‘retail analytics’ for channel planning (retail & remote) including but not limited to demographics, retailing trends, consumer behaviours, geography and market potential
- You will extract data from various source, design and build interactive dashboards and reporting to transform how stakeholders understands and accesses retail insights
- You will develop new initiatives/conduct pilot schemes to test new offerings/services to collect and analyse quantitative and qualitative data and insights to ensure channel formats and the composition remain relevant in a sustainable way
- You will perform regular updating of process documentation, prepare new process documentation and coordinate regular updates to priority stakeholder groups
**Who You Are**
- You will need a Bachelor’s degree in in Business Administration/Management, Economics, Finance, Real Estate or equivalent
- You should have at least 6 years of related experience in corporate planning, business development or corporate finance
- You should be highly proficient in financial planning and analysis, and is able to create financial models
- You should have experience in strategic planning, investment analyses, corporate finance, feasibility studies, business process analysis, industry/economic research
- You should possess extensive stakeholder and vendor management
- You will need strong numerical and financial analysis skills
- You should have an aptitude for blending quantitative and qualitative data
- You will need excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to formulate and implement effective solutions to problems, able to connect the dots in the bigger picture, as well as being comfortable in the details of the deliverables
- You should be able to work fluidly in a highly cross-functional team environment and have the ability to challenge convention and be willing to take a leadership role
