Clifford Chance Applied Solutions is our team dedicated to providing customer care and maintenance for the digital solutions we sell to clients and includes sales and marketing support.

Create focuses on joining forces with clients, industry innovators, breakthrough technologists and established market players to explore new technologies, business models and ways of working to stay at the forefront of the developments that shape the sector and the Firm's future client service model.

The Create Research & Development (Create R&D) Hub is a team dedicated to the rapid and effective selection, design and development of digital solutions and products for our lawyers and our clients. It includes research, design, project management and development expertise supporting the global firm and its clients.

The role incumbent is responsible for supporting the firm's global Create R&D Hub n with a primary focus on the coordination of the firm's Singapore-based Innovation Lab (Create+65) activities.

Role Description

Reporting to the Innovation Lead, Create+65 the role will have a dual function supporting both global and local initiatives. This includes responsibility for:
Create R&D Function
- Supporting the triage of new ideas for the Innovation & Best Delivery Programme globally through competitive intelligence and market research and analysis
- Supporting the external profile of the firm's innovation expertise through marketing activities including blog and social media posts, conference collaboration and presentations

Create Innovation Lab (Create+65)
- Supporting the development of new opportunities and ideas for the Innovation & Best Delivery programme locally through research and analysis
- Being involved in client presentations and collaboration projects in Asia Pacific to share our innovation strategy and initiatives and to help identify new opportunities for product development and client engagement
- Being involved in representing Create when presenting to or collaborating with other parties in the Asia Pacific market (including universities, incubators, and other ecosystem partners such as SOLIA)
- Driving the promotion and engagement with the Innovation & Best Delivery Programme through knowledge sharing and delivery of training and other presentations internally to lawyers and business services professionals in APAC offices.

You will be expected to work collaboratively with project team members from other Business Service departments and to develop credible relationships with the partners and associates within the respective office.

Projects could be based in any geographic location and may involve multiple locations, in which case it is likely that some parts of the project will need to be managed remotely. There may be some limited international travel.

Skills and Experience

**Qualifications**:
The role incumbent will preferably be educated to degree level with a bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Professional Experience

The role incumbent is likely to have worked in a professional services environment where he/she would have been involved in the rollout of new initiatives. Experience of working in a 'green-field' site would be advantageous.

Entrepreneurial

Ideally the role incumbent will have an entrepreneurial spirit and flexible approach to get involved in all aspects of the innovation team delivery. They will be good at identifying problems that need to be solved, seeing new opportunities and defining and executing plans.

Analytical and Creative Thought

This role requires the incumbent to take a consultative approach, which will involve a high level of creative thinking alongside a can-do attitude. The incumbent will be able to demonstrate strong skills/ experience in analysing and synthesising information.

This role incumbent will receive direction and support primarily from the Global Lead, Clifford Chance & Innovation as first point of escalation, but advice or assistance may also be sought from a variety of other sources, such as expert lawyers and the marketing and business development team.

Research

The role incumbent will have strong research skills and will enjoy presenting their findings to colleagues in written or verbal form.
