We are looking for a Brand Licensing Manager to bring innovative product and brand collaborations to life from ideation and negotiation to go-to-market for MONO - the world’s leading design-driven brand for the modern musician. This role requires a deep passion for driving the brand's product vision and strategy, a solid understanding of licensing strategy and a desire to create new and relevant products in collaboration with world-class brands.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and champion the brand’s licensing strategy and vision.
- Drive value creation and lead licensing efforts across MONO, including business development and account management.
- Identify and evaluate strong licensing partners whose goals align with ours.
- Negotiate favourable deals and proactively manage licensing partners to achieve our short and long-term strategic goals.
- Actively embrace a licensing strategy and execution plan that is highly relevant to our products and design strategy.
- Identify upstream requirements and impacts (e.g. legal, financial, management approval) surrounding collaborations and ensure that key targets and milestones are met.
- Deeply understand the priorities and complexities of cross-functional teams and understand how to benefit and support other teams’ work related to owned projects.

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of experience in building and owning the licensing function at a reputable lifestyle, entertainment or apparel brand.
- Solid understanding of the current licensing landscape.
- A strong network of contacts across the licensing industry.
- Pulse on emerging consumer and music industry trends.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders to create the best licensing plan for partnering our brand with the greats, and understand key brand objectives and initiatives.
- Self-starter who finds a solution to any challenge.
- Excellent communication, creative, negotiation and organizational skills.
