DESIGNATION : IT Infrastructure & Operations Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

In search for a competent and dynamic individual responsible for the planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure and Operations. This includes servers, storage, networking, workplace, and cyber security management in Hybrid cloud environment. The IT Infrastructure Manager will also work with other IT teams to ensure that the organization's IT systems are aligned with the business goals.

In addition, provide managerial and leadership for the IT Infrastructure & Operations of IT/IS department. The individual is expected to lead a team of IT professionals to ensure the robust delivery of IT services for 24X7 Operations.

Responsibilities:

- Accountable and responsible for the well being, KPIs and day-to-day functioning of the IT Infrastructure & Operations.
- Accountable and responsible for the availability and security of infrastructure services such as network, servers, storages, workplace, operating systems, middleware, disaster recovery, backup etc.
- Accountable and responsible for the quality and service level of the overall IT infrastructure and operations
- Accountable and responsible for the allocation, retrieval and tracking of IT assets/liceses including maintenance/subscription contracts
- Work closely with regional offices and all areas of the business to address user issues/requests or service improvements ensuring quality IT service delivery, IT security and compliance
- Manage the IT service delivery with outsource vendor
- Manage all system events, incidents, requests & accesses
- Manage/support local/regional IT infrastructure related projects
- Negotiate and manage IT equipment/service vendor contracts
- Developing and maintaining IT policies, facilitating/participating in IT audit ensuring compliance
- Responsible for IT annual budgeting, monitor and control of actual spending
- Participate in scheduled meeting namely daily IT operations and weekly Change Advisory Board meetings etc.
- Plan, design, and implement the organization's IT infrastructure.
- Plan tech refresh, evaluate solutions and prepare business cases for Infra operations.
- Responsible for planning and execution of approved infra projects with vendors to deliver within the agreed project timeline and budget.
- Stay up to date on the latest IT technologies.
- Team Management and coordination:

- Build trust and rapport with team members. Develop in-house capabilities to manage IT operations with manage services vendors.
- Coordination and regular communication with internal departments & vendors to deliver solutions

QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in IT/IS related discipline
- 7 years of experience in IT/IS industry
- With at least 3 years in leadership capacity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Project management, PMP
- Knowledge in ITIL v3 or later
- Certified or equipped with in-depth knowledge in server hosting operations, network, IT security and server/storage technology
- Good working knowledge in Window OS/DB, MS Clustering, VMWare, HyperV, storages and Cisco network
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments

OTHER INFORMATION
- Network, Cloud, Security management qualifications.
- Managed/supported IT in a 24X7 manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Expected to work the necessary hours to complete duties and/or fulfill responsibility.
- Domestic and international travelling may be required.
