**We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Localization and Communication Coordinator to join our team. This position is based in our office in Singapore.**

**Responsibilities**:
**Communication Facilitation**:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for all day-to-day and routine communication between our product team and developers.
- Act as an interpreter during meetings and events between the two parties to ensure clear understanding and effective communication.

**Localization Management**:

- Oversee the localization process for our games, including text translation, voiceover recording, subtitling, and cultural adaptation.
- Identify and onboard freelance translators or localization companies as needed.
- Ensure timely delivery of localized content while maintaining high quality standards.

**Quality Assurance**:

- Conduct linguistic and functional testing to ensure the accuracy and consistency of localized content.
- Work closely with QA teams to address any issues or discrepancies in the localization process.
- Provide feedback and guidance to translators and vendors to improve localization quality.

**Cultural Consultation**:

- Offer insights and recommendations on cultural nuances and sensitivities to ensure culturally appropriate game content.
- Collaborate with developers and content creators to incorporate cultural elements into game design and narrative.

**Vendor Management**:

- Manage relationships with freelance translators, localization companies, and other vendors involved in the localization process.
- Negotiate contracts, establish project timelines, and monitor vendor performance.
- Ensure compliance with budgetary constraints and quality standards.

**Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain detailed documentation of localization processes, including glossaries, style guides, and project timelines.
- Generate regular reports on localization progress and performance metrics for senior management.

**Job Requirements**
- Fluency in both Korean and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Experience in translation, localization, or related fields, preferably in the gaming industry.
- Deep understanding of Korean culture and gaming trends.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience working with localization tools and software is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, Communications, or a related field.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Be able to work independently with a keen sense of ownership and responsibility.
- Strong knowledge in MapleStory is an added advantage.
