School of Biological Sciences

(SBS), part of the College of Science, was established in 2002 with a mission to advance biological and biomedical sciences. At SBS, our research spans various areas, including infectious diseases, immunology, neurodegenerative diseases, telomere biology, and genome function. Over the years, SBS has attracted talented individuals from around the world and Singapore to join as scientific leaders and researchers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design new DNA and protein large language models (LLMs) algorithms- Develop and evaluate AI models for predicting DNA-protein interactions- Provide guidance on other AI projects in the lab- Any other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, with a focus on AI algorithms- Strong communication skills in English - essential for data analysis and communication with stakeholders- Experience in developing deep learning models- Strong background in machine learning and mathematics- Patient, curious, cooperative, and detail-oriented
