Associate Research Director

Blackbox is looking for an Associate Director to join and lead strategic partnership and up-scale public policy research and development, focusing on nurturing growth, to achieve clientele brand communication, and marketing priorities, in turn ensure and achieve Blackbox growth ambition and sustainability.

Blending decision science, brand and strategy build valuable connection between our clients and their target audiences, the Associate Director is accountable for clientele’s strategic goals and support to achieve their desired outcomes aligned with team’s financial KPIs (revenue and margin commitment) and will be expected to:

- Develop and assist to design a strong multi-disciplinary team, to grow policy research
and development.
- Develop and maintain open-channel communication with all levels of clients to create
and foster trusted working relationship to provide an impactful solution to clients’
business issues.
- Prepare and/or review and finalized draft designs (i.e. questionnaires, analytic plans,
reports, presentations) prepared by team members.
- Translate data to insights, create compelling stories and powerful synthesis of findings
to drive high impact business decisions through insightful and actionable
recommendations.
- Drive issue-based analyses, build effective analytical presentations and consultative
storytelling to clients and presenting to the clients.
- Inspire team and build positive team experience with active engagement in driving team spirit.
- Enable efficient resource management to ensure timely delivery and meeting quality
expectations.
- Stay abreast of latest developments in market research and constantly suggest
refinements to current processes and approaches.

**Role Requirements**
- Acquired a degree in Market Research, Marketing, Psychology, Math or a related
analytical field
- 8+ years of working experience in research consulting or marketing services
- Fluency in survey-based research preferred
- Energetic, motivated, and experienced team leader capable of developing and
implementing strategic business plans, overseeing a team, and building relationships
internally and with stakeholders
- Have a track record of business development with clients and proven ability to drive business within a team.
- Possess good knowledge (across sectors) and established client relationships and networking skills.
- Demonstrated cross portfolio collaboration
- Thrive in a fast paced, entrepreneurial, high-energy environment that requires the ability to multi-task and implement high priority initiatives
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, planning and project management skills with individuals at both peer and management levels.
- Creative, solution-oriented mindset with drive to see plans through to implementation as well as can deliver content and key messages at scale.
- Excellent Customer service and management mindset

**Salary**: $6,000.00 - $9,500.00 per month
