Privately owned energy & commodities trading company is looking to hire a Senior Crude Oil Trader to develop a book East of Suez. Their strategy is to develop strategic partnerships, where they develop an integrated approach to logistics, marketing & trading, encompassing finance and risk management. Through strong relationships with financial institutions, garnering credit lines. The company had invested in integrated trading assets such as tanks, ships, strategic investments into refineries and TCVs. Credit lines and strategic partnerships are in place to provide a 'leg up' into the crude oil markets in APAC as a starting point to build on.

8+ years dedicated to Crude Oil trading
Experience of execution, marketing and supply Trading, East of Suez
Understanding of the supply chain and mechanisms around Crude oil trading in APAC and potentially internationally
Track record of developing strategic partnerships such as Chinese Oil Majors and other regional oil refineries and Oil Majors
Ability to create and execute successful trading strategies
Understanding of the regulations governing the trading industry
High degree of analytical skills to make informed trading decisions
Record of accomplishment of building a book, or has the right skillset to build a book

The role will suit somebody perhaps looking for a new challenge, who is comfortable stepping away from a established trading environment. This person needs to be prepared to roll their sleeves up and lead with their front foot forward.
