**JOB DESCRIPTION**

The Lead Engineer for OTT is responsible for the development of the overall vision that underlies the projected solution for Mola’s platform.

He/She is expected to work closely with developers, product managers and business owners in order to analyse the requirements and compile them into a coherent technical solution. The solution architect is expected to possess a high level of expertise in the Internet TV ecosystem in general.

**ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Scope, define and design solutions offerings; driving end-to-end technical solutions for OTT
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, clients, partners and operators
- Analyze technology, define requirements and participate in risk analysis
- Develop technical presentation and proposals
- Lead project team to deliver solutions
- Participate in knowledge transfer, documentation and information sharing
- Evaluate tools and technologies to devise best practices and increase efficiencies
- Prepare architectural designs for presentation and used as references by technical teams
- Responsible for the overall effectiveness and functionality of the OTT platform
- Constantly reviewing and managing the platform effectiveness, balancing scalability and cost effectiveness
- Ensure features adhere to regulatory and certification requirements defined by the industry, governing bodies and OEMs.
- Participate, engage as a thought leader, and chair technical workshops both internally and with partners
- Collaborate and work efficiently with globally distributed teams

**JOB REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS**
- At least 5 years of experience in designing complex, carrier-grade products and/or solutions
- Excellent analytical skills and natural curiosity to learn new concepts
- Ability to adapt to working with a wide range of stakeholders
- Science or Engineering degree
- Excellent communicator both verbally and in writing in English and Chinese
- Experience in the OTT TV industry - huge advantage
- Experience in working with mobile and TV Operators
