As the company continues to rapidly expand across the globe, we are searching for a senior and highly seasoned compliance professional to head our regional regulatory compliance function (based in any of our regional offices within APAC).

As a key part of the global regulatory & trade compliance team, you will have an amazing opportunity to develop relationships and build awareness for the compliance function in innovative and creative ways.

Even at a “No Rules Rules” company like Netflix, integrity and good judgment are a critical part of our core values. As the first regional compliance lead based in the APAC region, you will be the primary point of contact for all compliance-related issues from across the business. This means one day you could be helping deploy anti-corruption training for the next big hit on Netflix, while the next could be spent helping craft our response to a request for information (“RFI”) from a regulatory authority. You will also need to stay highly aligned with our regional and country leadership teams, as well as our General Counsel for APAC.

**Responsibilities**:

- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across APAC to provide timely and sophisticated business guidance on compliance questions and issues as they arise.
- Support regional rollout and operationalization of all global compliance policies and procedures (e.g. Code of Ethics, Global Anti-Corruption Policy, gift guidelines, etc).
- Lead implementation of anti-corruption training for production personnel in APAC.
- Ensure appropriate compliance monitoring of APAC-based reporting hotline claims.
- Support and advise on third-party due diligence and enhanced due diligence requests.
- Serve as the point of contact for M&A-related operational compliance issues in APAC.
- Partner with global and other regional compliance leads on enterprise-wide compliance initiatives (e.g. annual regulatory compliance risk assessment).
- Support other key strategic compliance priorities and workflows as needed.

- A demonstrated ability to support a broad range of cross-functional stakeholders with regard to the interpretation of ambiguous situations and potential compliance risks.
- Deep interest in innovating and upleveling existing compliance tools and workflows.
- Experience in/exposure to international compliance matters, including the FCPA, UK Bribery Act, EU/US sanctions matters, Antitrust/Competition Laws, etc.
- Familiarity in performing due diligence, navigating internal investigation processes, government investigations, and/or experience in the white-collar crimes practice area.
- An ability to lead training sessions in multiple formats for Netflix employees and third-party intermediaries on compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as applicable anti-corruption laws, sanctions, etc (without putting anyone to sleep).
- Strong risk tolerance & an experienced perspective on counseling on compliance.
- Demonstrated international & multicultural context/fluency; foreign languages a plus.
- Strong Netflix culture fit aligned with Netflix’s culture memo (which you’ve read).
