Regional Fp&a Manager

**About the Role**:

- Conducting the monthly consolidation, annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, deviation analysis and special projects, ensuring efficient & harmonized planning and analysis processes.
- Act as the overall analytical aggregator of company-wide financial data, to provide insights to decision making bodies and be the key interface to finance business partners
- Providing finance support to APAC Corporate functions (e.g., IT, SCM, HR) as a business partner to ensure best in class planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management activities with a focus on an end-to-end view on corporate function to drive superior business decisions

**Furthermore, your role includes the following responsibilities**:

- Support the Regional FP&A Lead in managing APAC FPA reporting (Monthly Actuals, Budget, Forecast) within stipulated deadlines.
- Design and preparation of monthly financial reports for management.
- Provide insightful analysis of monthly results (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow and Capex), including reporting on other business performance metrics by collaborating with local finance teams and explain variances against budget and forecast scenarios.
- Monitor and analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including revenue, cost of sales, margin, SGA, operating income, capital expenditures and cashflow against budget and forecast. Provide adhoc reports/analysis where required.
- Manage HFM data, reporting and submission process for APAC region, working closely with Global FP&A team.
- Preparation of presentation deck to explain variance analysis to Regional Finance Team.
- Be the interface between Finance and corporate functions.
- Work with Global FP&A and Admin Finance closely and disseminate the global directions across the region.
- Provide meaningful and actionable insights / commentaries / advice / recommendations on historic financial performance and future opportunities for financial improvement.
- Deliver timely financial analysis and business counsel to effectively measure business performance against strategic priorities. Identify key risks and opportunities for improvement of financial performance.
- Support mid
- and long-term planning, forecasting and analysis that produce accurate / achievable plans and forecasts, aligned with strategic objectives of the business.
- Partner with the respective functional heads to enhance financial management understanding as a vital element of decision making.
- Develop a high-performing finance team to meet current and future business needs.
- Work with internal audit and other governance functions to ensure an effective compliance and governance process and monitor progress, risks/issues, and barriers.
- Drive change and sustain efficient, effective, and compliant accounting and financial reporting processes.
- Liaises with the Accounting, Treasury, Divisional Finance pillars and local country finance to maximize the outcome of finance function.
- Financial review and analyze on projects and CTB items including Sensei IQ review and assist with APAC PPM and other project owners.
- Provide support to APAC SMO team supporting region projects as a valued finance business partner.

**What we are looking for**:

- Qualified Accountant (CA/CPA) with Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 10+ years’ experience in accounting/finance field with strong expertise of IFRS accounting standards.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail and ability to work with ambiguity.
- Good understanding of management accounting, general ledger information system and internal control.
