About GLOBALFOUNDRIES
**Introduction:**:To provide technical leadership to optimize equipment capability, quality, and utilization through CIP to meet Module goals
**Your Job**:
- Possess world class knowledge of Wafer Fab Equipment.
- Able to modify Wafer Fab Process Equipment for better productivity, quality as well as extension for future technologies.
- Coach and guide AEs and Engineers in all hardware activities. (PM, CM SOP as well as modification)
- Develop new methodologies and revise existing practices of procedures for FAB wide CIPs.
- Provide in-sight in technical decision making of Fab equipment acquisition.
- Relatively good process knowledge so as to advice on recipes changes or tool modification.
- Start-up new processes which involve process characterization and development
- Able to proactively provide sound technical advice and support to drive and work with internal/external customers to alleviate issues/concerns.
- Organize and conduct technical trainings for Engineers and Associate Engineers to maximum their competency.
- Provide future technical direction to the team.
- Drive for technical excellence.
- Responsible and accountable for complying with and implementing environmental, health, safety and security (EHSS) system, policies, procedures and guidelines that are applicable to your scope of work, thereby maintaining a healthy and safe workplace.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Mechatronics / Microelectronics Engineering
- At least 8 - 10 years of relevant experience in process engineering, preferably in a Electronics / Electrical industry
- Min 8 years relevant experience in sub-micron wafer fab preferred
- Proven ability to identify, assess and solve problems
- Perform Normal / Swing Shift (or 12-hour rotating shift if required)
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Prior experience in foundry or similar industry background will be an added advantage
- Analytical with good interpersonal skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Good team player and has strong leadership qualities
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- High Integrity
