About the team
TikTok's SMB Team aims to help businesses and brands of all sizes unleash their creative side, connect with our audience, and drive revenue and growth. From designing scaled sales and service delivery programs to ensuring our customers have best-in-class tools and products at their fingertips, our SMB team combines operational expertise with a customer-centric mindset to help businesses achieve their marketing goals on TikTok, no matter how big or small.
**Responsibilities**:
- Establish and drive sales strategies and execution plans to enable teams to achieve business goals in the day-to-day while also driving long-term initiatives in order to meet overall sales goals
- Guide a team of vendor ops on consultative, client-centric selling and demonstrate strong understanding of marketing KPIs, TikTok product expertise/capabilities and measurement
- Iterate or evolve programs in partnership with Program Management and Vendor Management team
- Liaise with cross-functional teams on structuring and executing operational and strategic initiatives that grow the SMB segment in an ambiguous environment with shifting needs
- Partner with the Vendor Management team in order to manage vendors and determine long-term strategy
- Review and monitor daily/weekly progress of business across markets
- Develop and implement best practices for client interaction, sales, and services
- Review and advise on continuous improvement activities to ensure processes are aligned to achieve best results
- Ability to analyze and identify opportunities, approaches and in turn, build scalable, repeatable processes to accelerate the team's impact

- 3-4 years experience in online marketing, sales, agency and/or product solutions
- Excellent communicator and comfortable managing multiple tasks
- Experience engaging and influencing with cross-functional groups
- Expert knowledge of social media, mobile apps, and digital/mobile marketing
- Knowledge of the self-serve platform, auction, and biddable form of digital advertising buying
- Data-driven, capable of in-depth data interpretation, synthesizing insights through clear, concise communication
- Solutions-oriented with strong problem-solving and strategy development experience
- Strong executive presence and ability to remain calm under pressure
- An effective listener and strong communicator
- Detail-oriented to find solutions for clients while improving internal processes and delivering feedback
- Passion for TikTok marketing, and up for the challenge of building something from the bottom up
- Self-starter and motivated to learn
