**Job Summary**:

As Director of Legal Affairs, you will play a key role in one of the fast-growing global sports services agencies in Asia Pacific. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for managing all legal affairs for Infront Pan-Asia from contract drafting and risk assessment to negotiation and execution, as well as ensuring compliance with laws and company’s rules and regulations.
**Job Requirements**:
**Scope of work**:
- working closely with and supporting the Managing Director and the business and project heads (media, marketing, production) in contracting rights-in and rights-out commercial partners as well as suppliers
- ensuring highest quality and efficiency of the Infront Pan-Asia’s internal legal advice
- providing comprehensive support to all clients and suppliers assigned in the day-to-day matters (primary contract drafting, negotiations)
- being responsible for the coordination of external and internal legal advice on a project/property/internal client basis
- being responsible for the contract administration and constant updating of contract information in all legal databases
- overseeing and monitoring legal developments, in particular entertainment-, IP- and competition law-related in APAC and sharing this information in the team
- being responsible for the legal integration/coordination with Infront Group’s central Legal Affairs in Switzerland
- being responsible for the management of the Infront Group’s Compliance System in APAC
- supporting the Managing Director and Head of Finance in special projects
- ensuring compliance with laws & regulations
- managing external legal advisers
- ensuring legal risk management and compliance with company rules, regulations and corporate governance
- ensuring company’s secretary duties - Directors' resolution, minutes of Board of Directors’ meetings
- performing the daily tasks in a professional manner (discreet, exact and neat)
**Educational background**:
- advanced education (university degree in law, preferably LLM, etc.)
- Bar Exam
**Experience**:
- more than 6 years of experience as lawyer or in-house counsel in an international service environment
- experience of reviewing and drafting commercial contracts
**Skill & competencies**:
- very good legal knowledge in contract drafting, license agreement, digital law, IP
- very good economic / business administration knowledge
- ability to evaluate situation quickly and take decisions
- ability to work independently/autonomously and as part of a team
- understanding of taxation, financing and corporate matters
- very good understanding of intellectual property issues
- a pro-active, service-oriented approach
- strong team orientation
- strong analytical skills
- business mind-set
- thinking beyond legal
- ability to stay calm under pressure
- capable of working with senior management as well as legal clerks
- precise work style but able to see the big pictures
- excellent understanding of business and organisational interrelations

**Other requirements**:

- strong motivation to work in the sport and event industry
- positive attitude towards Infront’s company values
- language: English. Any other Asian languages would be an advantage
