ROLE SUMMARY
Non-sales commercial role, focused on providing educational & scientific content and supporting HCPs. Purpose to improve the impact of our medicines and vaccines on patients and society and creating better customer experience.
- Engage in meaningful scientific discussions with targeted HCPs to drive Rare Disease (RD) awareness and assist HCPs in navigating the complex healthcare reimbursement policies within the RD space
- Pivotal in streamlining/ integrating diagnosis tests in health systems to ensure timely diagnosis
- Be the Patient Advocacy Group connector in supporting patient education & collective voice from the ground for RD portfolio
- Foster deep customer relationships across RD MDT (Multi-Disciplinary Teams) in facilitating/strengthening network referral from disease diagnosis to treatment
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive deeper engagements focusing on educational & scientific content
- Streamline customer interface by acting as single POC for proactive & seamless (compliant) connection to Pfizer SMEs and resources
- Responsible for onboarding customers to new operating model platforms
(e.g., Digital Engagement Portal)
- Knowledgeable of customer preferences for content and channels to orchestrate an ideal customer experience through relevant content selection
- Support attainment of improved patient outcomes through physician and patient education and services enabled by deep scientific expertise
- Improve service provided along with design expertise
- Actively engage in creating awareness and shaping patient access initiatives (Commercial only) and help accelerate patient access through awareness and education addressing external bureaucracy
Highly specialized stakeholder management with strong background in navigating within the respective category spectrum
HCPs: Engage in meaningful scientific discussion with targeted HCP to drive disease awareness (RD) and assist HCPs in navigating the complex healthcare reimbursement policies within RD space
Patients: Accelerate the referral route from polyclinics to see HCP for diagnosis
Diagnosis: Pivotal in streamline/ integrate diagnostic tests (i.e. PYP, genetic) in health systems to ensure timely diagnosis with appropriate facility set up to ensure early diagnosis and treatment for better patient outcome
Adoption: Rare/unprecedented treatment guidelines require real-time discussion with HCPs on the optimal treatment options available in the market
Advocate: Be Patient Advocacy Group connector in supporting patient education & collective voice from the ground (RDSS, HSS)
Increase reach to Peripheral stakeholders: Medical social workers, Chief Pharmacists, Procurement officers for introduction of drugs available (new drugs or bided tenders or SDL/MAF), patient programs and partnership programs with societies (RDSS, HSS)
- Collaborates effectively and compliantly with cross-functional colleagues, including Field Medical, Reimbursement and Key Account Management, to address customer inquiries and advance Pfizer objectives. Able to use triaging protocols and digital apps to create rapid connections with appropriate SMEs to address customer inquiries
QUALIFICATION
- Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical sales/key account experience, preferably in Specialised Therapeutic Areas (i.e. Cardiology)
- Understands trends in health care and pharmaceuticals, customer landscape, patient journey, competitive dynamics, and business opportunities
- Good knowledge of local healthcare reimbursement system
- Ability to deal with complexity and demonstrates agility in thinking
- Possess a class 3 valid driving license and preferably own vehicle.
