**JOB DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF NETWORKING PRE SALES TECHNICAL**
- Support the preparation of RFI, RFP, RFQ submissions and other proposals requiring technical due diligence in networking solution.
- Work with Global product management and technical teams to define and support Edgecore planned and current product portfolio, including
- Product function and feature requirements
- Software considerations
- Integration and operation considerations
- Maintain existing relationship with partners in the Region
- Regional SME in switching and routing protocols.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of hardware and software options
- Liaise and establish close working relationship with other company functions, in particular;
- Product Management
- Software Development/Integration team
- Maintain up to date knowledge of OCP, TIP and ONF concepts, initiatives and projects.
- Support customers in building and evaluating CORD based systems.
- Provide hands on support, including system build and demonstrations
- Support and attend conferences and expos as required.
- Support Edgecore across regions when required.
- Provide Technical Training to Regional partners
- Prepare technical reports.
