**The Role**
The APAC Region is at the forefront of building a world class approach to Working Capital management across Clyde & Co. This includes automation of repetitive tasks, addressing the root causes of billing and payment delays and forming strategic partnerships with our key clients and service providers. We currently have a vacancy for a Billing Officer who is keen to join, and grow within, a high performing team.
This role is in a team that primarily supports Singapore but also works with teams supporting Hong Kong and China. We value the knowledge and skill that an experienced Billing Officer can bring to this role, but also welcome those who are looking to build a career in law firm operational finance. Clyde & Co APAC is fast-growing and the finance team has a track record of offering opportunities for personal development and growth.
**Key responsibilities**
This role reports to the Head of Working Capital, APAC Region. Routine responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Accurate and timely processing of client Invoices (including credit notes)
- Generating WIP reports and distributing to each partner
- Conducting, summarizing and logging WIP updates with Partners
- Coordinating the file closing process
- Generating and uploaded e-bills for specific e-billed clients
- Follow up verbal and written communication to internal and external stakeholders
- Dealing with internal queries about billing issues
- Reviewing GST ledgers to prepare the quarterly GST output tax summary
- Daily posting of cash receipts to the office and client account
- Accurate and timely processing of the office and client account bank reconciliations
- Collating sample documents for the annual audits
- General assistance to the finance team.

- Part of project teams refining and enhancing our systems and processes

- Billing or similar experience in a similar, or larger, organisation
- Good command of spoken and written English; Clear, concise written and verbal communicator
- Committed to service, quality and attention to detail
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment without making errors
- Manages time and priorities to consistently meet deadlines
- Works well both in a team and on their own tasks
- Fast learner, keen to advance their career as the region grows in both size and complexity
- Committed to continuous improvement of our processes and controls
- Advantageous but not essential:
- Experience in professional services firms and / or knowledge of Thomson Reuters Elite 3E
- Accounting graduate or diploma.
