BRMC Little Lights Preschool (BRMCLL) was formerly known as Barker Road Methodist Church Kindergarten or BRMCK. It was established in 1967 and is an outreach arm of Barker Road Methodist Church (BRMC). Our Kindergarten in Barker Road is the only first faith-based preschool in Singapore with the IB PYP accreditation.
Our strength lies in low teacher-child ratio and providing quality care and education through promoting bilingualism and teaching the children to be self-disciplined, caring, risk-taking, knowledgeable, open-minded, reflective, well-balanced and God-fearing individuals.
- Keeps records of updates from relevant authorities; MOH, ECDA and surmises all information for the admin office staff.
- In charge of distributing parent advisories. Updates and/or drafts parent advisories when needed.
- Online Registration of teachers, staff and BRMCLL Management Committee members with ECDA.
- In charge of the school’s Annual School Calendar for parents and staff
- Enters prompt online reports of student illnesses (e.g.: HMFD etc) regularly with ECDA/MOH.
- Updates Principal on latest developments/ procedures with regards to foreign student registrations, employment of foreign staff. To be kept abreast of latest updates by logging into relevant websites for such information at the beginning of each month.
- In charge of updates on LTA releases of land/ buildings for Childcare / Kindergartens. To log into relevant websites at the beginning of each new month to collect and file such information.
- Keeps all on Barker Road Campus communities updated on special school functions and celebratory events
- In charge of BRMCLL staff uniforms, security door passes and keys.
- In charge of online bookings for classrooms, function rooms for school events.
- Liasing and co-ordinating with service providers
- Assists Vice Principal in organizing logistics for all school excursions.
- Assists the Vice Principal in the preparation for the School Annual Year Book/Magazine.
- In charge of recording all minutes to staff meetings and placing in the Shared Folder for staff to access.
- In charge of the alignment and layout for all information on the BRMCK Rules and Regulations and administrative forms.
- Assists Parent Liaision Officer in the filing of all student data.
- Overall in charge of the filing of all Information at BRMCLL Admin Office: Ensure all are done, clearly labelled and in order. Keeps Admin Office neat, tidy and clean.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Principal.
**Job Requirements**
- Diploma and above in closely-related fields
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
- Able to meet deadlines
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Able to work independently and also a team player
