Johnson & Johnson Pte Ltd is recruiting for an Account Manager, Ethicon, located in Singapore.

As an account manager, you will be responsible for the Ethicon portfolio; accountable for leading the overall management of sales strategies, activities, operations, and budgets associated with driving sales within an allocated territory. Meets or exceeds established sales goals through the implementation of sales and clinical activities. Tactically operates across the full breadth of comprehensive portfolio, using exceptional commercial acumen in a way that maximizes sales opportunities within Ethicon.

You will work closely with surgeons and nurses to understand their needs in surgery and help to address those needs with products and services that is in our portfolio. You will help patients in your community return home with a better quality of life and their loved ones.

As part of the Ethicon team, this this role is required to support cases in the operating theatre. This job is eligible for sales incentives/sales commission.

**Reporting Line**:
This position reports to the Sales Manager (Ethicon, Endocutter & Energy).

**Responsibilities**:

- Achieving territorial sales growth targets through CREDO-based leadership of the sales team.
- Prospect and establish new opportunities by managing a sales pipeline and developing and delivering proposals to customers by illustrating Ethicon’s value proposition.
- Establish relationships with key surgeons, key accounts, and associations to leverage potential opportunities, and maximize resources to drive collaboration toward innovative solutions.
- Maintain excellent commercial and environmental knowledge and gain insights to ensure the most effective regional strategies, shaping the business to ensure growth.
- Tactically operate across the full breadth of comprehensive portfolio, using exceptional commercial acumen in a way that maximizes sales opportunities.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding and first-hand knowledge of stakeholders, differences by sub-specialties, and the clinical and non-clinical decision-making and buying process to identify unmet needs, stakeholder insights, and market trends.
- Utilize stakeholder insights to influence internal and external stakeholders to overcome resistance, create opportunities and get results.
- Develop proctors & advocates for the Ethicon Portfolio focus segments
- Design stakeholder engagement plans across various surgical specialties
- Work closely with Sales Manager to implement annual/quarterly sales plan and essential changes required to achieve objectives.
- Work closely with Franchise/Product/Business Development Manager to ensure launch readiness and use post-launch measurements to effectively deliver launch plans within an allocated territory.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Medical Devices and Hospital Group to ensure the full extent of company resources is harnessed and delivers more than competitors in the marketplace.
- Support Franchise/Sales manager to establish team and individual sales goals and provides effective coaching of sales representatives to consistently improve their performance.
- Mentor and develop team members to maximise their sales performance through the appropriate use of evidence-based selling methodology and performance & development process.
- Consistently promote and cultivate the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and compliance at all times, including our Global Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and related policies and procedures.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in Marketing, Business Admin, Medicine, Nursing, Medical Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or Biomedical Sciences (preferred).
- A strong team player with outstanding interpersonal, communication & presentation skills.
- Demonstrates leadership qualities, ability to influence a broad range of stakeholders & excels at marketing/training/development.
- At least 3-5 years of proven experience in the clinical or healthcare setting in Pharmaceutical or Medical device sectors.
- Sales and/or sales leadership experience of 3-5 years (preferred).
- Business acuity and critical thinking skills, exposure to project management

This position will be based in Singapore.
