DESIGNATION : Manager, Content Marketing (1-year contract), OCCM

RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position is for Office of Corporate Communications and Marketing (OCCM).
- Project manage content through their life cycle which includes effective management of stakeholders (internal and external), writing, editing and proofreading of written content to support the editorial calendar.
- Work closely with content marketing agencies to plan and manage the content editorial calendar, ensuring alignment with broader university narratives.
- Develop creative and engaging content that speaks to stakeholder needs, which can include creative copywriting for short and long-form content, EDMs, websites, scripts, social media posts, etc, in line with best SEO practices.
- Adopt a data-driven approach by utilising data analytics (content reporting, trend monitoring and A/B testing frameworks) to elevate and optimise quality of digital content assets, content/channel performance and campaign effectiveness.
- Conduct market research and analysis, design and develop propositions that are relevant to our target audiences.
- Develop and compile monthly content reports.
- Be part of the social media monitoring roster to listen out for online brand mentions, ensuring all issues are addressed in a timely manner for the protection of the brand.
- Assist on ad-hoc projects as required.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in Communications or Journalism preferred or Degree in Journalism, Mass Communications or related field required.
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in copywriting or content development and management.
- Excellent command of the English language both written and oral.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing requirements and shifting priorities.
- Adaptable, detail-oriented, organised, able to work independently to meet tight deadlines, with the ability to empathise with, understand and influence key stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience in SEO and social media management in a business capacity an advantage.
- Ability to work cross-functionally within the organisation.
