Nutanix is now looking for an innovative and eloquent marketer to join the team as **Partner Engagement Specialist, APJ **. This person will have direct responsibility for driving thoughtful, long-term engagements with strategic partners in APJ, balancing the needs of top tier partners and initiatives, while building a model that scales for our rapidly growing partner ecosystem.

This role requires strong communication skills, and an ability to work cross-functionally, leveraging both internal stakeholders and partners to deliver results. This person will have a deep understanding of the partner ecosystem, business-oriented mindset, and the skills to use data for decision making. The artistry to communicate effectively while working in a thriving and fast-paced environment is critical.

This position will report to the **Partner Marketing Director, APJ **, while working closely with Partner Sales, Partner Demand Marketing Manager, and regional and corporate marketing teams within Nutanix.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Align with regional partner sales leadership and field partner marketing on business priorities, focus partner programs, and success metrics.
- Establish partner engagement strategies by persona and journey stage, to maximize mindshare, improve performance, and deliver exceptional partner experience across APJ region.
- Lead the partner engagement execution for different partner types, including partner communications, enablement, programs and advocacy, to drive incremental growth with our partners.
- Develop persona-based communications to help partners gain knowledge of our programs, product updates, promotions, business news, and business growth opportunities, via but not limited to partner portal, newsletters, electronic mails, enablement webinars, Nutanix University website and demo platforms.
- Execute APJ partner enablement sessions to help them achieve their certifications, tiering and revenue.
- Build strategic relationships with our partners and collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams in Nutanix, to roll-out partner programs and initiatives, maximizing the impact of program adoption and execution.
- Drive partner advocacy via digital and social presence, by leveraging wins or awards to engage and recognize top partners.
- Create internal communications for key stakeholders like partner sales managers, field and partner marketing teams, as well as the larger internal sales audience.
- Provide a monthly roll-up of progress and effectiveness of strategic partner engagements, to determine ROI and prioritize resources. Continually evaluate performance and results to enhance strategies.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree with 1 - 2 years of communications experience across APJ.
- Prior experience working with different types of partner routes to market like resellers, distributors, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), technology alliances, system integrators (SIs), service providers (SPs) and cloud partners.
- Ability to think strategically while implementing tactically, balancing longer term ambitions with current capacity and demands.
- Proven success in driving partner or customer engagements.
- Excellence in developing and delivering presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Motivated problem-solver with emotional intelligence and the ability to understand partners and their needs.
- Proven leadership skills with a record of inspiring and persuading in-country, regional, global and cross-functional teams, as well as the partners.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and complex environment.
- Fluent language skills in English; other language is a plus.
