A Bit About The Role: We are looking for a motivated and team oriented Pre-Sales Consultant to present and design a solution of Imagine Communications’ Broadcasting and IP Production products to customers in the region. Based in our Singapore office, this position offers an opportunity to work in an enthusiastic, dynamic, and innovative team offering leading edge solutions to leading TV broadcasters, Telcos, and Video Service providers.
As a solutions oriented Pre-Sales Consultant, your responsibility will include handling Pre-sales requirements and supporting Post-Sales service delivery. With excellent cross-cultural communications and multitasking skills, you will also provide guidance to customers and channel partners in S. E. Asia at both a technical and commercial level. You will work in close cooperation with our Sales Directors, Solution Architects, and Professional Services organization. Your focus not only will be customer-facing but also liaising with product line management. You need to be passionate and dedicated to provide excellent Sales support to large and small direct accounts and partners in the region.

Engage in customer meetings and presentation
- Participate actively in sales activities including sales quote, tender review, and proposal submission
- Define and document equipment requirements including BOMs, system drawing and SOW
- Conduct practical ‘’hands on’’ customer proof-of-concepts demonstrations and training
- Take on role as technical lead and consultant in customer projects
- Liaise with the Product Line managers and Solution Architects
- Assist with trade show preparation and set up
- Prioritize activities based on the sales funnel and work closely with sales team for achieving sales targets
- Travel activity (up to 50%) in the region is to be expected
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree or Polytechnic Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Computing Science or Audio-visual Technology or related experience
- 3 to 4 years working experience in a Pre-Sales or Technical Customer Support role in the broadcast or pay TV industry or experience from audio and video, telecommunications
- Understanding of IP media networking, Fiber Transport Stream Processing, and Software defined Network solutions
- Working knowledge of IP/routing switching protocols and architectures, on-premises, virtualized and cloud based IT solutions and architectures, storage protocols and technologies.
- Understanding router control and distribution system and Signal processing modular products
- Basic working knowledge of graphics workflow in a live broadcast environment, i.e. working with broadcast automation and playout servers
- Ability to show opening logo animation and branding graphic elements
- Able to perform tasks independently as well as being a team player
- Detail oriented approach with strong customer service orientation
