Senior Manager

Our investment professionals are responsible for delivering investment outcomes to our clients. They are enabled by many teams including Front Office Services (FOS), which is responsible for operations and support functions.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**

This role is part of the FOS team, focusing on the liquidity management for the portfolios. This includes:

- Liquidity / Active Cash management
- FX / Derivatives support
- Short Term Money Market Instruments execution
- Treasury market Data Insights and Analytics

This role will be working closely across various functions within the company specifically the Investment teams, Dealing, Middle Office and the Transitions team

Key responsibilities of the role include:
**Liquidity / Active Cash management**
- Review and monitor cash balances and the cash settlement ladder
- Proactively support the portfolio manager to invest excess cash, manage exposure risk and avoid overdraft
- Oversight and reporting of cashflow exposure across counterparties with permitted limits
- Management of re-purchase agreements to support liquidity flows

**Derivatives Overlay Support**
- Review collaterals and margins to ensure consistency with previous day market movements
- Manage both security and cash collaterals and margins movements
- Work closely with Investment teams and Middle Office on security collateral postings and recall
- Support Investment Teams on Overlay portfolios hedging

**Order Generation & Execution**
- Generate FX and STMMI orders
- Work with Investment Monitoring team to resolve any breaches flagged
- Work closely with the dealing team to support efficient execution
- Support effective execution with an awareness of the constant need to with counterparties for cash instruments like Time Deposit, FX and Repos
- Review of counterparties in terms of level, capacity, willingness to trade and execution cost
- Adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements and to meet the aims of the Fund Management teams
- Feedback of market information and generation of trade ideas to fund managers

**Data, infrastructure, research and Projects**
- Support the team with Aladdin and other technology and data vendor requirements
- Maintain relevant dashboards and tools to support decision making, across different toolsets
- Support the team with research, analysis and reporting
- Participate or drive projects leading to automation, control improvement, risk reduction and process optimization

**New fund launch and strategies support**
- Participate in internal and client meetings to support fund launches or changes to mandates, working in close collaboration with the Transitions team and other functions

**EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- 10-15 years+ broad experience of the asset management industry with an emphasis on Treasury / Liquidity management and execution
- Conversant with investment concepts, instruments, investment portfolios asset classes and financial derivatives.
- Good knowledge of a wide range of treasury products and related operations
- Familiarity with investment regulation and restrictions in Asian markets
