**Why we need you**:
Omise is hiring a full-time Solutions Consultant to support the needs of our strategic partners and mid-market customers. You will work directly with our regional Sales team and leadership, providing technical guidance and implementation support to our ecosystem of partners and merchants. This role is based in Singapore and cover the Singapore market. You will report directly to the Country Manager.

**What you will be doing**:

- Help drive new sales opportunities by developing, nurturing, and leveraging relationships with eCommerce platform providers, systems integrators, payment network providers and others in the payment ecosystem.
- Work closely with the Sales team to identify new business opportunities and convert merchant prospects into sales; provide pre-sales support through product demonstrations, on site client meetings, and technical expertise with merchant opportunities
- Proactively push product thinking and creatively design payment solutions to solve merchant problems and ultimately to provide the best experience for their users
- Consult and advise partners and merchants on how to optimize payments using Omise's platform, best implementation practices and address specific partner and merchant issues
- Work with the Product team to localise the product/solution for the market
- Provide, implement and activate technical solutions to partners and merchants in a professional manner and to agreed timeframes

- Establish and cultivate strong and productive relationships internally and externally, fostering teamwork by keeping colleagues updated on activities;
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams internally to define priorities, plan joint roadmaps with partners and help solve critical issues across the organization
- Work on a variety of initiatives with partners including, but not limited to, product partnerships, distribution and commercial partnerships

**You**:

- 8+ years of experience in product management, solutions consultant or similar roles at a top technology company or startup
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science Engineering (preferred) or similar fields
- Experience working closely with the internet and technology companies on channel partnership efforts
- Strong product instinct and ability to identify opportunities for partners to utilise existing and in-development products, as well as ability to partner with Omise product organization to build world-class features for existing and new partnerships
- Strong commercial orientation, with the ability to initiate, execute, and grow complex commercial partnerships while maximizing economic value for both Omise and our partners
- Strong verbal and written communication skills - including the ability to speak to different constituencies such as business development, product, engineering, and sales internally and externally
- Independent: This person will be highly committed with the ability to flourish with mínimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty and ambiguity
- An ability to communicate and CLEARLY articulate technical information to non-technical staff in a way that is easy to understand

**Bonus**:

- Knowledge and understanding of payments industry
- Fluency in Mandarin
- Programming experience a plus. Knowledge of development tools and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, Ruby, PHP etc.
