
Service Crew/ Restaurant Host

Be responsible for taking reservations, answering the phone, replying to WhatsApp messages before and during service, responding to any guest requests etc
- Welcome guests warmly to the restaurant
- Be helpful, welcoming and pleasant towards each guest.
- Acknowledge special occasions when notified by customer and keying it in the system for the booking.
- Liaise with the kitchen and GM on the special requests of the week.
- Utilise the systems to its full potential, maximise bookings, create a database of all regular patrons of the restaurant, building a detailed record of guest such as their birthdays, anniversaries, allergies and preferences etc.
- Assist other service crew with work including, but not limited to cleaning the tables, tidying up and setting silverware during service and getting ready for the next seating
- Familiarizes with all food and beverage items in the menu, its ingredients, method of preparation, portion size and presentation to be able to deliver ideal service maximizing guest satisfaction.
- Ensure food and beverage arrive to guests quickly and correctly; and confirming guest satisfaction
- Ensure proper table maintenance, including water service, pre-bussing, etc.
- Serve food & beverage to guests when required.
**Requirements**:
- Diploma in Tourism / Hospitality Management
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
- Good people skills
- Good organizer and planner
- Passionate about people
- Service-orientated
- Ability to operate with flexibility and creativity.
- Well-groomed
- Proactively taking on additional responsibilities where required.
- Must be fluent in English
- Can think out of the box
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience with customer service preferably at a hotel or a restaurant
**Benefits**:
- Salary from $2,800 to $ 4,500 depending on experience
- End of Year Bonus depending on performance
- 12 days AL (with increment of 1 day per year until the max of 17 days)
- Monthly Health Incentive ($50)
- Annual Long Service Incentives from $800 (1 year of service) to $2000 (5 years and above of service
Annual Health Incentives (0 to 2 Mcs - $150 to $500)
- The Employee shall be entitled to either a staff meal or a meal allowance of $4 per day of work performed.
Working hours: 50 to 52 per week
