The Purchasing Executive is required to perform a range of duties including, but not limited to:
**Job Description**:
Support GM to deliver sourcing initiatives across food related categories.

Delivery through proficient knowledge of the Collaborative Procurement Model (CPM), Category Management and 7-step sourcing process.

Ensure timely renewal of contracts & contract negotiation.

Source for new products and/or alternative materials to achieve cost savings with same/better quality & follow up on Food Item Evaluation (FIE).

Planning and purchase based on forecast given & conduct market check.

Prepare Purchase Requisitions & Purchase Order

Manage Costing Forecast

Build rapport with vendors and maintain a strong network of vendors

Resolve internal/external customer complaints and coordinate with suppliers on return of goods and other issues. Liaise with suppliers and or sales team for finalizing purchase orders / sales orders;

Prepare/verify purchasing documents including contracts, invoices, payments, and logistics, and highlight discrepancies immediately;

Arrange and follow up product logistics, including schedule, container booking, cargo release, insurance, shipping charges, claims.

Ensure Purchasing KPIs are met

Assist in Inventory Management

Any other projects & duties assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements:
1. Diploma (or above) in Logistics, Marketing, Business Management, or equivalent, with preferably 2+ years of

purchasing/shipping experience;

2. Have to be proficient in Chinese Mandarin, both spoken and written (to liaise with Mandarin Speaking

colleagues in China)

3. Proficient in Microsoft Office;

4. Basic knowledge of accounting, international trading and or logistics;

5. Willingness to learn, take on added responsibilities for the company and personal growth;

6. Team-player, self-motivated, objective-oriented, strong sense of commitment and responsibility.
