We are looking for a **Trainer** to join our Competence Development team in Neste Singapore.

We have a small team of experts working in Neste Singapore’s Refinery. Our team is responsible for ensuring all the processes, roles and responsibilities related to training are clearly defined, updated and executed. Purpose of the job is the successful delivery of skill training (field and/or panel) between the shift teams and ensure relevancy of tasks in the technician learning path.

We also develop training programs, support content development and monitor the delivery of such training to all levels of employees.

**Your part in Neste journey**

In this role, you will support capabilities building activities. Your main responsibilities include
- Plan and deliver the basic/skill development program of field and/or certification program for the Shift Teams in Operations, and ensure relevancy of tasks in the Technician Learning Path.
- Maintain/update training instructions, guidelines and procedures as proposed by Master Trainer and agreed by Key Stakeholders.
- Define, create and continuously develop training scenarios, templates and minimum requirements for all training tasks.
- Recruits and onboards new shift trainers.
- Onboard and support new operations technicians while conducting an assessment/evaluation and identifying sections where improvements are needed.
- Creates technical training programs according to requirements.
- Provides training schedules and agendas.
- Determines overall effectiveness of programs and training by listening to feedback and making improvements as necessary.

You will work closely with HR, Operational Excellence, Operations & HSSEQ Departments and External Consultants / Government Agencies to accomplish your goals.

You will report to the Competence Development Manager, to ensure the competency of our people, and to drive the development of Neste’s learning culture.

**Keys to success in this role**

The best combination of experiences, skills and background is
- Bachelor's degree on the relevant field / Skills gained through work experience
- Experience with instructional curriculum design and/or training delivery
- Knowledge of adult instructional and learning theory and principles
- Experience with an e-learning software is an asset
- Minimum 3 years trainer experience. High technical knowledge of the technology and units.
- Certification (e.g. ACLP) is a big plus
