Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced IT Trainer to deliver high-quality training to internal teams, partners, and end-users. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in IT systems and applications, a passion for teaching, and preferably hold the Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP). This role involves both instructional delivery and content development across a range of technologies, with a focus on
Microsoft courses
and other relevant IT courses.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver instructor-led and virtual classroom training on Microsoft technologies (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure, Power Platform, Copilot, SharePoint) and other IT System as required.
Work closely with key vendors to ensure training content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with business needs.
Provide quality and technically relevant instruction, assessment, and feedback in both lecture and hands-on lab environments.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive course syllabus, ensuring all learning objectives are clearly defined and met.
Design, update, and maintain all instructional course materials, including manuals, presentations, and training content.
Utilize modern training technologies such as video conferencing, distance learning platforms, and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Conduct training needs analysis to identify skill gaps and recommend appropriate learning solutions.
Demonstrate a strong desire to excel in both training delivery and IT consulting.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT and adult learning.
Continuously evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements based on feedback and performance metrics.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience as an IT Trainer, Technical Instructor, or similar role.
Strong knowledge of enterprise software, productivity tools, and IT systems.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
Certifications such as Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP), and other vendor certifications are a plus.
Experience with e-learning tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS) is an advantage.
