**RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager**

The Financial Operations Associate is responsible for performing a variety of book-keeping, operational and administrative duties within the Finance Department. He/She will assist the Financial Controller in maintaining accurate financial and accounting records, preparing and processing of transactional documents to support sales, procurement, accounting, banking, payment and sales activities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage full set of accounts
- Reconciliation of statement
- Assist with preparation of budget and forecast
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Stay current on company policies & procedures and relevant laws and regulations
- Develop and maintain administrative processes
- Keep an organized filing system

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Requirements**:

- Obtained or working towards achieving an accounting qualification is desirable
- Experience of working with Xero is desirable
- Attention to details and first-time accuracy in recording transactions
- Ability to explain finance procedures to non-finance people
- Good level of initiative and willingness to resolve routine operational problems independently
- Good communicator and ability to interact effectively with various internal and external counterparties
- Confident and assertive personality, with an ability to carry out duties with good humour, tact and diplomacy
- Excellent IT skills, including experience in using Microsoft Office; in particular Word, Excel and in using computer systems to maintain records and analyze data
