Senior Associate, Funds Management

The Senior Associate (Funds Management) supports his/ her superiors in servicing client accounts and updating records.
He/ She assists with client onboarding and maintaining compliance with regulatory guidelines and the organisations policies. He/ she is also tasked with monitoring client profiles and their changing needs. He/ she escalates issues pertaining to client documents or servicing concerns to superiors.
The Senior Associate (Funds Management) is a team player who is meticulous, detail-oriented and reliable. He/ she is self-motivated and able to take initiative to work independently and under pressure. He/ she is well organised and service oriented.
- To assist in the management of all Private Equity funds and Investment projects including and not limited to the followings:
i. Tracking of capital repayments and dividend payments
ii. Cashflow projections
iii. Maintenance of files documenting the individual PE Investment projects
iv. Repayment letters and dividend payment letters, whenever necessary
v. Liaising with Project Management and Finance teams on project and cash flow updates
- To work with external consultants and the in-house team on the establishment and structuring of new private equity funds including but not limited to preparation of fund documents, marketing materials, addressing investor due diligence questions, negotiations, and executing fund documentation;
- To take lead in investor activities, including investor onboarding, customer due diligence, capital calls and distributions
- To generate monthly Client Statements which consist of the performance summary of clients’ investment accounts, Projects Summary and periodic market overview reports
- To produce monthly compliance reports
- Provide support and assistance on ad-hoc duties or whenever necessary
**Key Requirements**:
- University degree in related discipline
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience in middle office of a fund management/admin company preferably in real estate funds or private equity firms;
- Knowledge of Regulatory and AML/ KYC requirements
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Meticulous and attention to details
- Ability to multitask, work independently and be a team player
