As the head chef you will:

- Manage and oversee operations in the kitchen, controlling and directing the food preparation process.
- Assist with menu planning and supplier negotiation
- Ensure quality is maintained and budgets are controlled
- Solve problems that arise in a positive and professional manner
- Be a team player and working closely with other Chefs of all levels, fostering a climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers
- Determining food inventory needs, stocking and ordering
- Ultimately responsible for ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines
- Being responsible for health and safety
- Being responsible for food hygiene practices
- Maintain and care of equipment with arranging for repairs when necessary
- Contribute to the hiring, managing, and training kitchen staff
- Maintain records of payroll and attendance

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $3,200.00 - $3,500.00 per month
