**What the role is**
- The Social Policy and Services Group (SPSG) oversees all policy, planning and delivery of social services for low-income and vulnerable families, including persons with disabilities. The Service Delivery and Co-ordination Division (SDCD) under SPSG overseas direct operations including the Social Service Offices, centralised schemes and service management of regional services. You will be part of a dynamic team tasked to support the Social Service Offices.
**What you will be working on**
- As a Manager, Social Service Office (Regional Services), you will supervise a team to oversee the implementation of MSF programmes (in particular, Community Link) at the Social Service Office (SSO), and coordinate government and community resources to strengthen the delivery of social services to individuals/families in need. You will oversee a team to facilitate service/programme planning and identify the social needs and resources in the community. This could be done through regular engagements with community stakeholders and conducting needs assessment surveys/focus group discussions with residents. You will help support a town-level implementation workgroup, a platform for government agencies and community partners to identify concerns and develop programmes to address the community’s needs. You will also be responsible for the recruitment, training and management of volunteers at the SSOs are implemented smoothly. This involves cultivating meaningful volunteer partnerships between the SSO and corporations, foundations, volunteer groups and individuals, through networking and engagement sessions.
