Job Profile Summary:
The role of the Distribution Engagement Officer reports to the Distribution Business Partnering and Engagement Lead. You are required to support in driving engagement with the agency force.

**Job Description**:
Engagement with the Agency Force
- Develop engagement strategies to enhance Compliance, regulatory and market conduct awareness and knowledge. This includes having continued support to handle agency force queries, driving initiatives to improve business quality, and doing risk-based reviews of agencies on key risks identified.
- Regular and ongoing engagement with the distribution channels to discuss and create awareness on market conduct, sales compliance issues to manage the Distribution market conduct risks.
- Develop Compliance’s risk-based strategies for the agency force engagement and awareness campaign.
- Administer contact points such as mailbox and online portal with the agency force.
- Work closely with Distribution Monitoring Team in engaging agencies through the monitoring on trends of complaints, investigations key compliance risk indicators and sales metrics.

Others:

- Undertake ad-hoc tasks, projects or reviews as directed by Distribution Business Partnering and Engagement Lead/Head Distribution Business Partner.

- Basic understanding of the insurance industry and operations
- Basic knowledge of regulations and industry guidelines applicable to the insurance/financial industry such as Insurance Act, Financial Advisers Act (FAA) and its subsidiary regulations, Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) regulations, Central Provident Fund (CPF) Board regulations, Life Insurance Association (LIA) guidelines

Working Experience:

- At least 1 to 2 years of experience in a compliance role in a financial institution or similar
- Preferably with experience in dealing with Distribution functions and/or regulators

Professional Qualifications:

- Preferably with Insurance-related certifications (e.g. FLMI (LOMA), CMFAS Module 5, 9, 9A & Health Insurance)

**Education**:

- Degree, preferably in Business, Insurance or Finance related fields

**Language**:

- Strong command of the English language
