The Technical Architect will report to the Program Manager and is tasked with securely integrating DOMA’s document management solution into the TSA environment. Integration shall include, but not be limited to, software development and connectivity.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Develop and advise development of Assessment and Authorization (A&A) artifacts and security documentation to include, but not limited to System Security Plans (SSP), Plan of Action and Milestone (POAM), Contingency Plan, Incident Response Plan, Configuration Management Plan
- Enhance and perform standard operating procedures as applicable for systems to be assessed for an Authorization to Operate (ATO)
- Provide technical expertise in IT Security Risk Management functions
- Develop ATO artifact templates to include but not limited to SSPs, POAMs, Contingency Plans, and other security documentation
- Develop and present briefs to government leads.
- Develop deliverables to include drafting data diagrams, creating classified documents
- Identify process improvements and document processes, and procedures
- Develop briefing communications and other deliverables
- Assist with pre-assessment preparation
- Develop and implement all system security controls necessary to receive ATO of the system.
- Assess technical risks and come up with mitigation strategies
- Determine customer needs and develop integrated technical solutions to address those needs
- Translate operational requirements into technical solutions
- Lead Technical Review meetings with stakeholders
- Manage technical projects from inception to completion

**Qualifications**
- Secret Clearance required
- A minimum of fifteen (15) years of related experience such as planning and developing system designs and schedules, maintaining competency in current software development processes, design technologies, methodologies, architectures and tools and providing leadership in the execution of developing large, complex software system architectures.
- A Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or other related field
- In depth knowledge of the software development process, tools, techniques, distributed and database systems and technologies
- Knowledge and experience with integrating developed and COTS software components/products into the final product
- Effective oral and written communication with technical, non-technical, and executive-level customers.

**Desired Qualifications**
- Experience consulting or supporting the Federal Government - TSA experience preferred
- Have experience with Authority-to-Operate (ATO) processes, including the NIST 800-53, rev.4 standards, annual security controls review, POAM creation and resolution, and all artifacts of these processes, such as the System Security Plan (SSP), Contingency Plan (CP), and Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA).
