Marketing Specialist
**Job Description**:
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for the support and project management of internally and externally-focused Business Development, Sales and Product marketing initiatives. This position works on moderately complex initiatives for key audiences, including writing tactical materials.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with cross-functional business partners and stakeholders to coordinate marketing initiatives for key audiences (Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) Plans, prospects, employer groups, physicians, pharmacists, members, etc.)
Participate in the development of strategic marketing plans, including objectives and tactics
- Review creative execution to ensure output adheres to Prime and client brand guidelines, and that strategic direction is on target
- Write and proof sales and marketing copy to targeted audiences via various tactics
- May coordinate Marketing efforts related to product materials and campaigns, business development and sales (including Request for Proposal)
- Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required
- 2 years of work experience in related marketing roles, including business development support, product marketing and/or marketing project coordination/management
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Additional Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and process
- Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines and balance multiple projects at one time
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel

Preferred Qualifications
- Project management experience
- Experience in the health insurance or Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) industry

Minimum Physical Job Requirements
- Constantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hear
- Frequently required to reach with hands and arms
- Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouch
- Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Reporting Structure
- Reports to a Sr Professional or Manager in the Marketing department

Potential pay for this position ranges from $55,400.00 - $83,400.00 based on location, experience and skills.
