**What the role is**
- As Assistant Director (HR Shared Services) and reporting to Deputy Director (HR Shared Services), the jobholder works closely with the HR team to oversee the provision of the full spectrum of HR services to support employee engagements, organisational development, talent management, reward management and business partnerships with key stakeholders and staff in the Secretariat of healthcare Professional Board (SPB). The jobholder is also responsible for developing strategies and creating and delivery of HR policies and process-framework and systems for supporting the organisation and its people achieve SPB’s key deliverables through service delivery redesign, building leadership and skills for sustained transformation. Concurrently, the jobholder will report to Principal Head (Planning) and head the Corporate Planning Unit in Planning Division to oversee the corporate planning function in SPB. He/she shall work closely with Divisions to systematically monitor and report key achievements and workplans to SPB senior management and prepare regular updates to be presented to MOH and all healthcare Professional Boards (PBs). As part of the annual corporate planning cycle, he/she shall also plan and organise the senior management retreat and set guidelines for divisional retreats and SPB staff retreats every year. He/she shall ensure that the key priorities and workplans of SPB and all healthcare Professional Boards (PBs) are effectively cascaded to all levels of staff. In addition, he/she shall review, introduce, and oversee SPB award/recognition schemes or activities that will help to build SPB culture and promote SPB core values in the organisation.

**What you will be working on**

**What we are looking for**
- a) At least 15 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in public service and has experience in corporate planning b) Good interpersonal and strong communication skills c) Talent for identifying and resolving problems with an eye for details (especially for policies and procedures) d) Meticulous and action-oriented personality with keen insight and strong analytical skills e) Effective team leader and player, able to work independently and engage internal and external stakeholders to transform business needs into desirable outcomes.
