Strategy and Planning
- Key senior CMP staff, besides the Head of Compliance SG and Head of Governance & Regulatory Liaison SG, to instill a culture of compliance within the bank
- Drives the gap analysis process on new and changes to existing regulations
- Support Head of Compliance SG and Head of Governance & Regulatory Liaison SG in mapping of business processes and controls to relevant regulations, directives, rules and guidelines.
- Main senior CMP staff to coordinate and support the CMP’s efforts in pan-bank initiatives.

People Management
- Provide training to business units on regulatory changes, compliance risks hotspots and industry developments impacting the bank’s business lines
- Planning, organizing and monitoring the team’s activities for resources optimization to ensure timely clearance of all alerts, adherence to project timelines within the agreed service level agreement.

Risk Management
- Ensures that business units adheres to applicable rules and regulations as well as internal procedures
- Identifies compliance risks that business units faces and propose solutions to mitigate the risks

Regulatory Compliance
- Act as the main liaison officer, alongside Head of Governance & Regulatory Liaison SG for requests or follow-up issues raised by regulators and to ensure timeliness response to their queries
- Owner of the end-to-end regulatory obligation change process and ensuring the obligation register is updated
- Lead and drive the performance of thematic and unit reviews on SG business units and business enablers
- To carry out any ad-hoc assignment assign by Head of Compliance and Head of Governance & Regulatory Liaison SG
- Alongside Head of Governance & Regulatory Liaison SG, provide strategic advisory support and guidance on closure of breaches/non-compliance issues as and when notified by BUs/SUs

Financial Crime Compliance Governance Support
- Main resource to provide and direct resource support to Head, Financial Crime Compliance, SG and Head of Governance & Regulatory Liaison SG in providing best-in-class governance support for FCC matters, including but not limited to management reporting, driving FCC related initiatives, etc.
