**About the Hiring Company**
The hiring company is a leader in the Lifestyle Consumer Electronics industry, with a multi-million turnover in worldwide markets. With increasing demands and as part of their growth, they are currently looking for a Head of Procurement (Contract Manufacturing) to be an integral part of their business to assist and continue to improve the value chain.
This position will be a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing the development of supply chain operations. You will play a crucial role in negotiating contracts, developing new manufacturing solutions in alignment with the companys strategic objectives.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Lead negotiations with contract manufacturers, focusing on pricing structures, line capacity, quality standards delivery timelines and other key parameters.
- Collaborate with contract manufacturers to establish long-term partnerships that align with the companys values and goals.
- Identify and evaluate potential contract manufacturing partners, considering factors such as capacity, capabilities, and quality standards.
- Work closely with executive leadership to align the procurement of manufacturing with overall business goals.
- Stay abreast of market trends and industry benchmarks to drive competitive agreements.
**The Successful Applicant**
You should possess a degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field. You will have significant years of experience in strategic procurement in a leadership position. Experience in Manufacturing and Electronics sectors will be highly regarded. Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work in a fast paced and collaborative environment is essential.
