**General Summary**

The Head of Finance for Inspire Brands Asia for APAC will be responsible for overseeing the Accounting, Finance, reporting, audit, and shared service functions for APAC, reporting directly to the CFO.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

1. Directs all aspects of accounting operations, overseeing all transactions related to the general ledger, receivables, payables, payroll, and financial reporting.

2. Analyses the company’s financial results with respect to profits, trends, costs, and compliance with budgets. Issue regular status and ad hoc report to the Executive Committee.

3. Provides strategic guidance around capital financing options to support company growth needs.

4. Develops and maintains all necessary accounting policies and systems including general ledger and financial reporting. Ensuring that records are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.

5. Assists the C-Suite in financial planning and results management. Work with other team members to understand revenue and cost drivers and define appropriate reports for tracking.

6. Coordinates, prepares, and reviews monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

7. Coordinates and/or prepares tax schedules, returns, and information.

8. Manages cash flow.

9. Manages all tax planning and compliance with all required payroll, and other applicable taxes.

10. Provides leadership overall functions of finance within APAC. The country managers and vice presidents for the finance of each market will be his/her direct reports.

11. Conducts regular meeting updates with finance and operation teams as necessary.

12. Participates in the professional development of the finance teams per country in coordination with the HR/Admin department.

13. Reviews and updates the policies and procedures on a timely and regular basis.

14. Works with the FP&A team in liaising with the clubs and IBA stockholders and in answering the queries of the lenders and founders.

15. Process improvement: Develops improved reporting and closes processes

16. Efficiency improvement: Develops improved shared services and AP/AR processes to shorten reporting cycle and improve cost-efficiency

**Requirements**:
1. Fluent in English - essential, high level of communication ability (native language skill level)

2. Professional qualifications and experience needed (essential)

a. Chartered Accountant (ICA or ACCA)

b. At least 10 years of professional experience

c. Business or Finance degree (Bachelor or Masters)

d. At least 4 years audit experience with a major audit firm (Big 4 or mid-tier)

4. At least 3 years multinational experience - essential

5. Franchise and retail experience - essential, more than 5 years

6. At least 5 years experience leading a large accounting and finance team based in the Philippines (30+ heads)

7. extensive work with multi-cultural teams (more than 3 years )

8. At least 5 years experience working with start-up retail business

9. At least 2 years experience working in a business going through merger/sale (essential )

10. Experienced with finance team transformation

11. Needs to have high-level attention to detail and be organized

12. Self-starter, able to work independently and drive changes to the current processes

13. Comfortable with working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment

Needs to be an effective mature leader who can develop teams to improve performance
