The aftermarket strategic sales account manager is responsible _for driving sustainable, profitable, growth in aerospace aftermarket sales at existing and new customers across the Asia Pacific region._
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Lead sustainable growth in aerospace & defense aftermarket sales at existing & new customers via channel partners
- Provide technical and commercial support to airline & military customers, colleagues & internal departments such as Engineering, Legal, Export Control and Manufacturing
- Identify customer pain points, needs and market trends in the APAC region and drive action cross functionally to support new technology development opportunities and marketing campaigns.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Degree in Engineering or scientific discipline. In lieu of the degree, 10+ years of experience working within Aerospace industry.
- 5+ years of Sales/Marketing/Applications engineering experience within a related industry
- Highly proficient reading, writing and speaking English and experience of communicating in English within large multinational organizations
- Be able to travel internationally. A minimum of monthly within the APAC region (excluding China) and at least twice a year intercontinentally (Typically US/UK)
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Knowledge of aerospace regulatory requirements and airline maintenance procedures
- Experience of working within the commercial airline industry
