Custody Operations Officer

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Manage primary/secondary market settlement process, position reconciliations, recon gaps and error trades
- Manage corporate action activities for custodized product and plan/implement process by leveraging on existing systems/procedures
- Administration of asset ledger and safekeeping, and collection/distribution of all benefits arriving from product listing and subsequent trading
- Support the implementation of new projects, systems or business initiatives
- Review current and/or new operations model and improvise/design solutions
- Create and maintain Manuals/SOPs while aligning understanding with internal and/or external parties (partners and vendors)
- Work closely with Legal on executing documents relating to custody and provide investment confirmation to investors
- Manage tax reporting and other functions associated to withholding tax
- Handle potential ad-hoc, issues, complaints and feedback inclusive of investigation and resolution on a timely basis
**Requirements**:
- Good practical knowledge on custody operations, securities market, corporate actions, depository clearing and settlement framework/system
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience managing custody operations dealing with securities products. Preferably a background in brokerage, securities operations, custody or fund administration
- Knowledge in implementing and managing custody software/system
- Degree in business, banking and finance or equivalent
- Relevant knowledge in regulations will be a plus point
- Capability in independence, time conscious in project timelines, decision-making
- Up to pace for fast changing environment/business direction
