As an APAC Gas Trader, you will drive gas derivatives proprietary trading across major indices, ensuring profitability and compliance. Your deep knowledge of the gas and LNG markets and strong collaboration with internal teams will be key to expanding Axpo's position in the APAC region.

**What you will do**:

- Develop and manage gas derivatives proprietary trading strategies across JKM/TTF/HH/Oil indices.
- Collaborate with LNG and APAC power desks on trading strategies, hedging, and position management.
- Execute orders across JKM, TTF, HH, JCC, and Brent indices for LNG and APAC power desks.
- Enhance models by working closely with analytical teams in Singapore and Switzerland.
- Maintain compliance with Axpo’s risk management policies and expand commercial networks in APAC.
- Communicate risk/reward strategies clearly to management and risk teams.

**What you bring & who you are**:

- University degree in mathematics, engineering, computer science, economics, or chemistry.
- 5+ years of gas trading experience, with a focus on physical and derivative markets in Asia.
- Strong knowledge of US/EU/Asia gas and LNG markets and their interactions.
- Expertise in trading natural gas/oil options and translating models into strategies.
- Fluency in English; an Asian language is a plus. Strong coding and database skills preferred.

You will be part of a highly collaborative trading team, interacting with desks in Singapore and Switzerland. Together, we work to enhance market models, share intelligence, and ensure that we meet both P&L and risk management objectives.
