**Your Role**

You are expected to maintain a safe, clean and healthy work environment by following company standards and sanitation regulations.
- Recruit, train, and manage venue staff members, ensuring excellent guest experience and a positive work environment.
- Schedule shifts, manage staff performance, and handle any personnel issues professionally.
- Monitor and control operating costs, including beverage, labor expenses and working with the chef for food costs.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare regular reports for the owner/general manager.
- Oversee the front-of-house and back-of-house operations to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience at the venue.
- Collect and respond to guest feedback promptly, making necessary improvements to enhance guest satisfaction and experience.
- Build strong relationships with the guests, build a following and regular guest list. Develop service standards and SOPs to ensure the optimal guest experience to achieve the goals stated in this segment.
- Manage the Bar to ensure smooth stock management and cost control. Work with the Head Chef to ensure smooth stock management and cost control. Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and sourcing quality ingredients.
- Enforce food safety and hygiene standards to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Monitor food and drinks quality and presentation, maintaining high standards of excellence.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement promotional campaigns.
- Develop creative initiatives to attract new customers and engage with the local community.
- Work with the marketing team to develop methodologies to enhance guest reach and positive interactions with our marketing (improved reservations etc).
- Streamline venue operations to improve efficiency and reduce wait times.
- Identify bottlenecks front and back of house and implement solutions to enhance overall productivity.
- Working with staff to oversee service standards and SOPs to ensure they are being executed correctly.

**Requirements**:

- Tertiary qualification preferred
- Food Safety Certification (preferred)
- Adaptable and able to work flexible hours and able to accommodate operational requirements
- Experience in the management of a bar or restaurant service operation
- Complete working knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Knowledge of cost control procedures
- Displaying good hygiene standards, well-groomed and highly motivated individual

**Staff Perks**

- Salary Range: Based on Experience
- Annual Leave: 7 Days in year one, 14 Days in year two, and 21 Days from year three onwards
