The **Head of Planning & Performance, Asia **plays a critical role in developing an integrated regional business strategy and delivery plan across all functions within the Asia region including commercial, operations and customer. The role drives overall regional strategy and performance, generating data and insights to drive quality decision making, identifying and pursuing opportunities to create and deliver value, building and leveraging cross-functional relationships and leading regional strategies and projects.

This position also drives the strategic direction of the Sales & Marketing teams in region, analysing data and working with stakeholders to identify, leverage and/or mitigate point of sales strengths and risks and drive appropriate sales and marketing activity. As a key member of the regional leadership team, this role leads, coaches, develops and motivates their team and stakeholders to achieve all revenue and performance goals.

**Key skills and responsibilities**:

- 10+ years’ experience in sales, strategy or commercial positions
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce or Economics or equivalent experience
- Comfortable presenting to senior leaders, with a versatile and highly effective communication style and ability to engage and connect with internal and external audiences at all levels
- Experience collaborating with and managing multiple, geographically dispersed stakeholders to generate shared outcomes
- Strong commercial acumen with a well-developed understanding of strategic, commercial and financial business drivers
- Ability to understand and navigate trade-offs and compromises between business vision and technical feasibility
- Strong people management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, coach and develop teams
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results within a complex business environment with differing stakeholder needs and expectations
- Experience working within an inter-culturally diverse work environment and creating and sustaining a highly inclusive work culture
