We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a** Head of Planning, Forecasting and Distribution Oversight.**

**Principal Responsibilities**
- Reporting into the Head of Planning & Analysis, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic decision making and financial planning with a focus on revenue. You will lead a team of analysts to develop forecasts, conduct variance analysis, and provide actionable insights to support key business initiatives. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to align financial objectives with overall business goals and drive sustainable growth
- Provide Oversight over the compensation paid to the distributors (agency, IFA, Banca, Singpost, brokers); assess the efficiency of the campaigns being run to support the achievement of the plans
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive sales/revenue plans, including annual channel budgets, long-term forecasts, and strategic plans. Work closely with senior management to develop and execute plans that align with the company's objectives and drive growth
- Lead the analysis of large data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization. Translate data findings into actionable insights and recommendations for stakeholders across the organization
- Identify inefficiencies in business processes and develop solutions to streamline operations and increase efficiency
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including department heads, executives, and bank partners, to understand their needs and deliver value-added solutions
- Assess risks associated with business decisions and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in business analysis to drive innovation and improvement within the organization
- Manage and mentor a team of business analysts, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of projects and initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience in business & performance analysis, with a minimum of 12 years in a leadership role
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to diverse audiences
- Strategic thinker with a track record of driving results and implementing innovative solutions
- Experience working in Life Insurance Industry & Understanding of IFRS17 is a plus
