Hiring company has its operations in Singapore serving the Asia Pacific region and is wholly owned subsidy of Europe-base MNC. They are in the integrated security communications supplying hardware/ software for the environments with their Intelligent Critical Communication Solutions. **THE POSITION**

The BUYER reports to the Senior Vice President to work closely in Supplier Management, Sourcing and ensure Supply Chain is running smoothly to accomplish the purchasing timeline and cost reductions.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Prepare purchase order and approved by superior.
- Monitor the delivery schedules from Suppliers to ensure that all items due arrive on time.
- Liaise with Suppliers for pull-in and push-out of delivery schedules from time to time.
- Ensure that the ETA for all orders is updated timely.
- Ensure that all incoming items are processed timely.
- Obtain replacement schedules from Suppliers on rejected goods.
- Responsible for the control of relevant controlled documents.
- To perform other tasks as may be assigned from the supervisor or management.

**CANDIDATE’S REQUIREMENTS**
- Qualification in Supply Chain or Purchasing or related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years experience in Purchasing/ Sourcing/ Procurement.
- Teamwork across within and across departments.
- Multi-tasking and able to take stress.
- Communication and negotiation skills.
- Must possess skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Able to correspond in English.
