Job Function: Finance The role:

- As a Senior Accountant, this role is to support the business units in operations from financial perspective. You will be part of a high-performing team, ensuring timely, accurate, and complete reporting for both internal and external stakeholders.
- This role also involves participation in various finance projects, including system enhancements, process improvements, and new business initiatives. Supports the smooth running of finance day-to-day operations as well as month-end and financial year-end closing activities.
- Support and involves in year end audit and handles all audit related matters
- Prepare budget file during budgeting period and supporting to HoF
- Handles day to day operation enquiries and requests from managers and external parties
- Prepare annual company tax for filing
- Lead and contribute to finance transformation projects, such as system migrations, process improvements, and new initiatives if any
- Participate in month-end closings, prepare and review balance sheet schedule. Resolve and follow-up on open item within balance sheet schedule, adjust on exchange variance, ensure smooth monthly closing of accounts
- Propose and implement process improvements to optimize reporting efficiency and effectiveness
- Prepare and work on GST Reporting on Quarterly basics. Also assist & involve on GST ACAP Audit
- Assit on Accounts Payable Function, work closely with Finance Shared Service Center (FSSC) P2P Team on monthly outgoing payment, review the accuracy of payment listing
- Assist on Accounts Receivable Function, oversees overdue listing and resolving with (FSSC) O2C Team
- Handle and submit Royalties/Interest from Loan for WHT payment within IRAS Portal
- Assist in day-to-day activities and handle ad-hoc matters as needed

What we need to see from you:

- ACCA / Degree in Accounting
- Minimum 5 years of experience in closing of accounts
- Knowledge in GST and Tax provision
- Preferably with supervisory skills and experience
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Team player
- Must be proactive, flexible, and independent in delivering results and driving changes
- Must be detail-minded with stable and responsible personalities
- Experienced in Navision / Dynamics 365 systems is highly advantageous
- Immediately available is highly preferred but not a must
