**Overall Purpose of the Job**

To assist the Manager, Technical Accounts in all aspects of Underwriting Operations and Technical Accounting related matters.

**Specific Responsibilities
**Technical Underwriting Operations & Accounts (Treaty)**
- Checking and booking of Statement of Accounts, Minimum & Deposit Premium and Profit Commission Statements, Sliding Scale Commission Statement, Loss Participation Statements, Outstanding Loss Reserves, etc
- Monitor receipt of - statements of accounts, premium adjustments, profit commission statements, Sliding Scale Commission Statements, Loss Participations, etc
- Monitor of 3C lists - on Cancellation/Commutation. To ensure timely input of information in SICS system as well as necessary chasers of SOAs for affected contracts. To refer to the 3C guidelines.
- Monitor outstanding premium reserves releases, outstanding credit for cash call loss and outstanding loss update.
- Ensure data accuracy of the Technical Bookings in SICS system
- Ensure timely Monthly and Financial Year end Technical Closing
- Monitoring and clearing of Unallocated Receipts
- To train new hire
- To assist with the supervision of Executives/Assistants
- To highlight any problematic accounts/clients to senior management

**Other Responsibilities**
- Organize, maintain and file all documents accurately - both in physical files as well as electronically as setup in the respective underwriting folders & Business Workspace in xECM
- Ensure timely month-end closing/daily interface of bookings in SICS system
- Ensure Technical Operations/Accounts work processes and procedures are adhered to
- To assist in system changes and UAT
- Any other related duties as assigned by Team Leader/Manager

**Required Skills & Knowledge/Work Experience**
- 5 years’ relevant experience in re/insurance technical accounting
- Strong Reinsurance Technical Accounting knowledge and analytical skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good level of communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to build relationship with internal and external stakeholders, including Management
- Highly motivated, independent, meticulous, adapt to changes and has a positive attitude
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Proficient in Microsoft Office

**Required Qualifications**
- Minimum Diploma or “A” Level equivalent
- Other relevant professional qualifications are welcome to apply
