**Job Description of Product Design Lead**

We are looking for a Product Design Lead with a keen eye for design and usability to take our products and services to the next level. As one of the first key Design hires in the team, you will have an opportunity to own and shape ThoughtFull’s product design process and set the standards of excellence for years to come. You will be working closely with our team of Product Managers, Engineers and Clinicians to create features that will have real impact in advancing digital mental health in Asia.

**Responsibilities**:
As an early stage startup, this is an end-to-end role where you will be involved in all aspects of feature development: from ideation and validation to design and development. As a Design Lead, the role requires you to:

- Lead the design of ThoughtFull’s digital mental health products and services from conception to launch
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Clinical and Business teams to define user needs and design requirements
- Conduct user research and testing to inform design decisions and iterate on product features
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that effectively communicate design concepts and product features
- Work with developers to ensure the design is implemented as intended and collaborate on design systems
- Continuously assess and improve the user experience and interface design based on user feedback and product performance
- Develop and maintain design guidelines and style guides to ensure a consistent and cohesive brand and user experience
- Participate in the resource planning and hiring of team members in Product & Design

**Requirements**:

- At least 5 years of experience in product design, with a focus on mobile-first digital products in a tech startup
- Demonstrated experience in designing and launching products from start to finish
- Strong portfolio of work demonstrating your expertise in both UI and UX design
- Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge of mobile and web design patterns and best practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in crossfunctional teams
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently with mínimal supervision. You are expected to set the standards in design best practices.
- Ability to maintain high-performance under tight timelines in a dynamic environment, and a “roll up your sleeves” mindset to get any job done
- Experience in a mental health tech organization or a related field is an advantage, but not compulsory
